Cooling Centers

Community residents looking to escape the heat are welcome at cooling centers are available, throughout suburban Cook County. A list of cooling centers in or near the 14th District is provided below. Be sure to call before going to a listed cooling center to make sure it is open.

Additionally, all communities in suburban Cook County have a local senior service agency that can help with cooling and other issues. Older adults and their caregivers can call AgeOptions for information on avoiding heat-related illness, and to find their local agency.
