At the November 1st Cook County Board Meeting:
- Commissioner Goslin will introduce a resolution on containing costs for annuitant health care, the premiums for which the Cook County Annuity and Benefit Fund currently pays 55%.
- The Cook County Board will consider a Speed Limit Zoning Ordinance, imposing a 20MPH speed limit, down from 25MPH, on all roads within the Plum Grove Estates Subdivision in Palatine Township.
- The Cook County Board will consider a Resolution classifying Quentin Road from Palatine Road to Northwest Highway (U.S. Route 14) in the Village of Palatine as a Class II truck route.
At the November 2nd Finance Committee Meeting:
- The Finance Committee of the Cook County Board will consider the various ordinance amendments proposed as part of the FY2013 Executive Budget Recommendation, including: the Tobacco Tax increase, the Gambling Machine Tax, the Non-Titled Use Tax and the Firearms Tax
