Forest Preserve
Projects completed in District 14 in 2002 thru July of 2003:
1. Design approval granted for the Paul Douglas/Crabtree Bicycle Trail. 5.5 miles of trail waiting for authorization and funds to start phase II and III (1.83 million).
2. Bakers Lake & Younghusband Prairie substantially completed. 31 acres of prairie, 26 car parking lot, nature trail and boardwalk ($481,554).
3. Resurfaced and striped drive and some parking lots at Deer Grove, groves 1-5 ($177,000).
